The current PHL loss claims procedure is as follows: Borrowers can reach out to the Loss Claims Department at 877-634-0988. Loss Claims reps will be able to help guide you with next steps and instructions on how to properly get the insurance check endorsed. Loss Claims reps are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm 

This is what they'll ask you when you call:

• Date of loss
• What happened
• Damage amount (if they don't have the insurance claim amount ask for an approximate damage amount)
• Insurance Company name
• Amount of loss (total amount of loss listed on the Adjustor's report, not the amount of the check the borrower received)
• Claim number (if possible)
• Contact number
• Mailing address (if the loss is large or the damages will not allow the borrower to be at home, ask where mail will be sent until repairs are done)
