I entered the mortgage industry after leaving the United States Navy, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of the last 22 years helping people get the right mortgage loans for their needs. My career allows me to stay connected to my passions — public service, community, and advocating for affordable housing and quality medical care for our military veterans.

Homeownership is important to me. I remember my mother working tirelessly as a nurse to support our family of four by herself. After years of renting and moving and even living in our pastor’s camper, my mother was finally able to save enough for a down payment on a modest two-bedroom house. Even as a child I understood how to her, it wasn’t just a place to sleep — it was a home. Later in life she provided hospice care for my grandfather, a WWII Navy veteran who inspired my own naval service. They are both heroes who understand the importance of a place for family.
